Enda attended ICCE2024 from 6-13 September in the Eternal City. Great fun meeting friends and former colleagues, and delicious pasta, pizza, and cappuccinos! Lots of interesting talks on topics like compound flood hazard modelling and nature-based solutions, and a short course on SFINCS provided by Deltares. Great making new connections with groups in the US, Netherlands, and Germany interested in collaborative research on dynamic revetments, and other nature-based solutions. Looking forward to bringing a cohort of UBC students to ICCE2026 in Galveston, Texas, and ICCE2028 in Osaka, Japan!
